Dr. Silvia Nunes
Veterinarian
With 25+ years of veterinary experience, Dr. Silvia Nunes is dedicated to providing compassionate and high-quality care for pets and the families who love them. Originally from Brazil, Dr. Nunes pursued her lifelong dream of practicing veterinary medicine in the United States, completing the extensive licensing process through years of determination and commitment to excellence.
Dr. Nunes believes that exceptional veterinary care goes beyond medicine. It is built on trust, communication, and genuine connection. She is passionate about educating pet owners and creating individualized care plans that support each pet’s long-term wellbeing. Dr. Nunes is fluent in English and Portuguese, and she is proud to serve Central Florida’s diverse community by helping families feel supported throughout their pet’s life.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Nunes is a devoted wife and proud mother of 3 sons. She shares her home with 2 cats and 1 dog, and deeply understands the joy and companionship pets bring into a family’s life. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, martial arts, spending quality time with her family, and continuing her passion for lifelong learning.
Dr. Ana Jaar
Veterinarian
Dr. Ana Jaar has been a devoted professional for nearly 40 years. She was born in New York City but grew up in the Dominican Republic (DR). Her love of animals inspired her to earn her veterinary degree (Graduate Cum Laude) from UNPHU located in Santo Domingo, DR. She moved back to the United States, where she owned her own practice for 17 years in Pembroke Pines, FL. Dr. Jaar has 2 furry friends at home – Bandit (chihuahua) and Ali (Mixed breed). She has lived in Central Florida for 6 years and enjoys competing in triathlons.
